Twelve Step Fandango - Chris Haslam

Martin Brock is an Englishman living in an abandoned and isolated Andalusian castle in Spain with his girlfriend, Luisa and a small commune of German bikers and assorted drop-outs from society. It’s not as idyllic as it sounds because they are all whacked-out junkies living on a diet of alcohol, cigarettes and cocaine. For Martin, this is not a bad existence, but he realises that this can’t last forever. His girlfriend is highly-strung and strung-out, his cocaine stash isn’t going to last forever and neither are his meagre funds. His wasted appearance doesn’t exactly inspire the confidence required to become a dealer and make a little money to pay for his habit. However a visit from a French biker, Yvan – an acquaintance from a former time, places an opportunity in his lap. Yvan is ill and dies on his sofa, leaving a bike with a hidden 5 kilos of pure, high-quality cocaine. This could be the answer to everything.
